Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some frequently asked questions (FAQs) about eSIM services.
Most modern smartphones (iPhone XS/XR and newer, Samsung S-series, Google Pixel) are eSIM-compatible. You can verify this right now: dial *#06# on your device. If you see an "EID" number in the list, your phone supports eSIM.
Absolutely! Your primary physical SIM card will remain active. You will continue to receive important text messages, bank alerts, and phone calls as usual. You will use the Qazaq-eSIM strictly for affordable mobile data, keeping data roaming turned off for your main card.
Through your device’s settings under mobile/network options.
We highly recommend purchasing and scanning the QR code at home a day before your flight, or right at the departure airport using Wi-Fi. The data plan will only activate and start counting down once you land at your destination and connect to the local network.
Yes, your phone must be connected to the internet (via home Wi-Fi, airport Wi-Fi, or cellular data) at the exact moment you scan the QR code to add the profile to your device settings.
For this situation, we have provided two convenient installation methods that do not require scanning:
Method 1: Automatic 1-Click InstallationThis is the easiest method. Go to your personal account, open your eSIM details, and in the "Manual & Quick Installation" block, click the green "Install in 1-Click" button.
A quick installation button is also available in the purchase confirmation email. After clicking the button, your phone will automatically open the built-in cellular settings and prompt you to install the eSIM. Simply follow the on-screen prompts.
Method 2: Manual SetupIf the automatic installation did not work, copy the data from your personal account from the "Manual & Quick Installation" block and enter it manually.
You will need:
